Description: At Tippett I primarily worked as a compositor, however occasionally I was a matte painter or Nuke tool developer. One of my favorite contributions is a tool that converts the position pass into a normalized image so artists can quickly add atmospheric effects. I also contributed to an ambitious project as a matte painter, where we created a fully-CG, photo-realistic theatrical film ride designed for a 180°-degree screen. We used the new 3D rendering software, Clarisse, to handle the large 6k-square format.
